By visiting this site, and finding out about what we do, you have already begun to play a role in the Kshitij movement; and to contribute, in a tiny way, to that still-evolving but increasingly endangered stream of Hindustani culture that Kshitij is dedicated to. You can make a larger contribution in several ways:
- One of the biggest contributions you can make is in the capacity of an enthusiastic listener. If you wish to attend our events regularly and receive regular information about them please write to us at once so we can put you on our mailing list.
- If you wish to host a Kshitij mehfil either in your home or in a public auditorium we can take care of all organizational procedures, artist selection, co-ordination etc. To discuss terms and conditions please get in touch with us by email.
- If you are a practicing Hindustani musician and would like to participate in our events as a performing artist and/or help in organizational procedures, or even just share your ideas with us for possible creative schemes, please contact us at once.

- If you are involved in the activities of another music group in or outside Mumbai, or in any part of the world and would like to co-ordinate with us on a joint project, we welcome such opportunities and would be glad to consider all possible collaborations.
- Kshitij is also open to interaction with the practitioners of other ‘music-s’ and art-forms. We have arranged mehfils in the past in seemingly unlikely spaces like the studios of installation artists, the homes of poets and novelists, and a five-day painters’ convention: We believe that all the arts can be mutually inspiring and that interaction between various parallel art-forms and ‘musics’ is hugely valuable to the survival and evolution of Hindustani music.
